Art Ain't Trash use waste as a resource to create art and activism. They work alongside brands, companies, community organisations and charities to install sustainable and climate focused strategies and infrastructure, whilst empowering those most affected by climate injustice.

Art Ain’t Trash is a sustainable creative agency founded by Bafta Winner and Climate Impact Nominee Darcy Thomas and partnered with Union Dance in 2025 in order to run projects nationally.

They offer tailored workshops, community events and creative consultancy with a climate awareness and sustainability focus.

Since the collaboration began there have been a number of successful projects ranging from the up-cycling/redesign of the SCT Sound System to the Samuel Coleridge Taylor Youth Centre, which now acts as an active free community resource; to running a variety of sustainability and climate focused events/workshops including a series of community clean ups across Westminster.

Wednesday 28th October

Most recently Westminster Council has commissioned Art Ain’t Trash, in collaboration with Union Dance, to continue their R&D of creative sustainability practices and have curated and produced an intergenerational exhibition exploring the intersection of alchemy, human migration and waste colonialism across diaspora communities in partnership with October Gallery titled ‘Displaced’.
